5+1 books that can make you stay at home

With many countries under the threat of COVID-19, social distancing and staying at home seems like the best option right now. And probably the most rewarding way to spend your time is by reading a book.

So here are the 6 most interesting books that I have already read and can genuinely recommend.

The obstacle is the way

5+1 books that can make you stay at home

This book is about changing your mindset in order to face a difficult or unpleasant situation effectively. It teaches you how to master your emotions, how to build emotional resilience, develop persistence, and how to resist what’s so hard to resist. It helps you live in the present moment and to accept reality as it is, and yet not to resign but always try your very best.

So good they can’t ignore you

5+1 books that can make you stay at home

So Good They Can’t Ignore You is a book that challenges the common wisdom of “follow your passion” and uncovers a better alternative. The idea of “follow your passion” is flawed. If you want to do what you love, you need something rare and valuable (career capital) in return. A great strategy to acquire these career capital is by adopting the craftsman mindset and deliberate practice.

Rich Dad - Poor Dad

5+1 books that can make you stay at home

This one is about financial education. Will help you understand the difference between an asset and a liability. The core idea of the book is that “The poor and the middle-class work for money. The rich have money work for them.”

If you think that getting a loan in order to buy a house is a good idea this will change your mind as it did to me.
